p.1
Outcome of monitoring
The inspector found that you have been making good use of the support provided by the local authority advisors to improve many of your systems and to increase your knowledge and understanding. You have created a clear and appropriate safeguarding policy which includes the procedures to follow should any allegations be made against yourself or anyone living with you. You are able to discuss this confidently, indicating that you now have an increased understanding of your responsibilities to protect children.
p.1
Outcome of monitoring
You have improved your complaints procedures by introducing arrangements to maintain records of any complaints and are aware to share these with Ofsted on request. In addition, you now have an appropriate system in place to obtain the required consent from parents when administering medication. The creation of new paperwork, which you have already begun to use, means that you now maintain all required information on children.
p.1
Outcome of monitoring
The inspector found that you have made progress in addressing the actions in relation to assessment and the completion of progress checks for two-year-old children but this work is still ongoing. You have designed paperwork which you feel may help you to assess the progress that children are making and indicates how you intend to promote their learning further. However, you intend to discuss this with the local authority advisor before implementing it. In addition, you have a scheduled meeting with the advisor to focus on how to complete the required progress checks for children aged between two and three years.
p.1
Outcome of monitoring
Having considered all the evidence, the inspector is of the opinion that the childminder has taken prompt and effective action to address the points for improvement.
