p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder has a poor knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Consequently, she is not meeting a number of legal requirements, which also relate to the requirements of the Childcare Register.  The childminder has failed to notify Ofsted of the birth of her baby. This is a breach of the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.  The childminder does not fully understand the importance of sharing information with parents, as she is not aware of the required information to be obtained from parents prior to children starting in the childminder's care, in order to fully safeguard children.  The childminder does not display Ofsted's certificate of registration at the setting, to validate her registered address and Ofsted registration number.  The childminder is not aware of the requirement to complete the progress check for children between the ages of two and three years, to identify any early intervention
