The welcoming environment offers children easy access to a broad range of stimulating toys, books, play materials and equipment to support children's learning and development in all areas. This helps all children to feel welcome and encourages their independence, as they make choices about what they would like to play with. The childminder demonstrates, through discussion, how she works together with practitioners in other early years settings and schools, to support the learning and care needs of the children.
