Outcome of monitoring
As a result of our inspection on 26/02/2014, we sent you a welfare requirements notice. The actions you were set are included at the end of this letter.
p.1
Outcome of monitoring
The welfare requirements notice required you to: improve knowledge and understanding of safeguarding requirements in relation to leaving children with an unvetted adult; ensure people whose suitability has not been checked, including through a Disclosure and Barring Service check, do not have unsupervised contact with children being cared for.
p.1
Outcome of monitoring
We also issued you a Notice to Improve that required you to: ensure that all children are usually within sight and hearing and always within sight or hearing.
p.1
Outcome of monitoring
At the monitoring visit on 21 May 2014 the regulatory inspector found, through observation, discussion and documentation that you have met all actions that were raised within the timescales. The action that you have taken shows that you are making satisfactory progress overall.

Outcome of monitoring
You have engaged fully with the local authority Early Years team who have offered you support advice and training. You have attended an updated Child Protection awareness course and can demonstrate a sound knowledge of safeguarding practice. This includes the need to ensure the suitability of all adults who may have unsupervised access to children and the requirement that unvetted adults must not have unsupervised access to children. You are also clear about the need for minded children to be with sight and/or hearing at all times. Your written safeguarding procedures have been updated to reflect these requirements and have been shared with parents.
