She is hopeful that this will result in referrals for potential placements during the next few weeks. Once the home begins to consider referrals, a recruitment process for new staff will commence. The responsible individual is fully aware of the imposed condition to inform Ofsted in advance of their intention to re- open the home. A requirement to ensure that actions issued at the inspection in 2012 are met, prior to the home becoming operational is re-stated.
p.3
Progress
The physical condition of the home remains good, both inside and out and is subject to at least weekly maintenance checks. Only minor attention will be required to bring the home to a state of readiness if it is to re-open. The home has the capacity to provide a very comfortable and pleasant place for young people to live in. The responsible individual is currently amending all the policies and procedures in readiness for the home becoming operational again.
