This inspection focuses on whether the children's home meets its statutory requirements in order to maintain its registration and is ready to accept placements.

Progress
The home is in the process of updating the Statement of Purpose and this is to be sent into Ofsted in due course. The home has addressed the one statutory requirement from the last inspection. The home has improved upon the safety of children who may reside here because they have updated the fire risk assessment. However, the effectiveness of this action cannot be evaluated as there are no young people residing in the home.

The Registered Individual of the home conducts monthly visits to assess the overall effectiveness of the service. However, copies of these reports are not always sent to Ofsted within the prescribed timeframes.
p.3

There are sound systems in place for the sourcing and recording of information about a young person’s experiences while residing here. The Registered Manager confirms the premises remain fit and suitable for young people. This is because they carry out regular safety checks of the premises.
