Outcome of monitoring
At the monitoring visit on 30 January 2014, we found that good, effective progress had been made in relation to meeting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) safeguarding and welfare requirements. The provider has demonstrated a capacity for improvement and a willingness to make changes to help ensure children's safety and wellbeing. The provider has received support from the local authority early years advisor to help her improve her working practices and understanding of the EYFS requirements. The welfare requirements have been met as the provider ensures that child are supervised well on outings and never left with alone with anyone who has not undergone satisfactory police vetting checks. The provider has reviewed all risk assessments and is managing her outings and outdoor play in the garden, well to ensure children's safety at all times and to be able to monitor children's behaviour and promote positive behaviour at all times. The garden is securely fenced and gated
