Systems for evaluating practice now includes seeking the views of both staff and parents. The nursery are also more aware of their strengths and weaknesses and prioritise future improvements. The provider has purchased some new resources to ensure a more balanced range of experiences across all areas of learning both indoors and outdoors is provided. For example, children use large magnifying glasses and binoculars to increase their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Staff have improved upon the programme for physical development. In particular children's good health is promoted by providing them with more Our Reference EY294864

Observation and assessment systems have also developed to ensure that staff use these to plan for children's individual learning. However, the provider is aware that the next steps in children's learning are not always identified across all areas of learning for each child and is working towards ensuring this is achieved consistently for all children.
