are kept safe during outings by completing risk assessments of her home and any outing that occurs. The childminder ensures that all people in contact with children are suitably and appropriately checked. The childminder has all the required documentation in place to promote children's safety and welfare. She explains how she would follow children's routines from home in order to help children to make a smooth transition into the setting. The childminder demonstrates, through discussion and sharing relevant documents, a suitable awareness of the Statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. This includes notifying Ofsted of significant incidents and changes to the provision. Ofsted are now satisfied with the childminder's ability to ensure that all people in contact with children are suitably and appropriately checked.
