early years provision

This inspection: Not Met Previous inspection: 2

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 The childminder is not meeting the requirements for documentation for the Early Years Register or the Childcare Register as she does not keep a written record of accidents.  The childminder produced evidence to show that she had received parents' written consent and instructions to administer medication to children. However, the childminder does not keep a written record of when medication is administered to children, as required.  The childminder is able to explain how she would take positive steps to promote children's safety through conducting risk assessments and regularly checking toys and equipment to make sure that they are safe and suitable for the children.  The childminder has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the signs and symptoms that would give cause for safeguarding concerns about a child. She is able to demonstrate an understanding of the procedures to follow if an allegation is made
