Progress
The home has made good progress in respect of its renovation. This will ensure a homely and safe environment for young people. Progress
The Registered Manager is currently placed at another home and has a good understanding of how to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people. Appropriate staffing levels will be put in place once a decision has been made to accommodate young people. The registered provider will ensure that recruitments systems are robust so that only staff who are carefully vetted can work with young people. Policies and procedures have recently been updated in accordance with recent legislation. These keep staff up-to-date with current child care practice so that they have the relevant skills and knowledge to effectively meet young people's needs.
