This inspection: Not Met Previous inspection: 2

p.1

The provision does not meet requirements

 This inspection was brought forward following Ofsted's risk assessment process owing to concerns around the provider's ability to meet the safeguarding and welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.  Arrangements for safeguarding are inadequate as the provider failed to respond to concerns about children's welfare in a timely and appropriate way. The provider did not implement her policy and procedures to safeguard children, and neglected to notify local children's social care services of her concerns without delay. This breach has a detrimental impact on the safety and well-being of children.  The provider understands the positive impact that partnerships with parents and other providers have on children's care and learning. However, links with other professionals involved in supporting children's care are not always strong enough to ensure that individual needs are met. The provider demonstrates a commitment to ensuring that

children are cared for appropriately for each family.  Owing to the fact that the provider omitted to refer her concerns to local children's social care services, care practices are variable and do not support all children's well- being and welfare. The environment is stimulating, well resourced and welcoming to support children's all-round development.  The provider fulfils her responsibilities in meeting the learning and development requirements, including overseeing the educational programmes. The provider has a suitable understanding of how children learn and demonstrates a commitment to meeting the individual needs, interests and stage of development for every child.
