Summary of complaint
On 3 March 2011 we received information from a complainant which raised concerns about hygiene and organisation, as a child's arm had accidently been pushed by another child into a toilet and they were asked to wash their hand only and were not given a change of clothing.

development experience that is tailored to meet their individual needs. Providers must have effective systems to ensure that the individual needs of all children are met.
p.1
Summary of complaint
Ofsted does not investigate to prove or disprove a complaint but we check the information to see if the childcare provider is meeting all legal requirements. We wrote to the provider to make them aware of the concerns and asked them to provide us with a detailed response. The provider carried out an internal investigation, interviewing the staff members, and confirmed that their disciplinary procedure was followed where appropriate regarding promoting the health of the children (the Early Years Foundation Stage general welfare requirements: Safeguarding and promoting children's welfare; and Suitable people).
p.1
Summary of complaint
With regard to the spare clothing, the provider identified that their spare children's clothing had not been returned by parents, and they needed to chase this up and/or replace them. We sent the provider a notice to improve which asked them to improve the systems in place to ensure that the individual needs of all children are met, with specific regard to maintaining spare clothes for the children (the Early Years Foundation Stage general welfare requirement: Organisation).
p.2
Summary of complaint
The provider has successfully completed the action.
p.2
Summary of complaint
The provider remains registered with Ofsted.
