Summary of outcome
On 07 March 2011 we received notification from an outside agency that an allegation had been made against a member of the household. The provider had already notified Ofsted of these concerns which means that she was meeting the requirements of Safeguarding and promoting children's welfare and Suitable people which requires childcare providers to notify Ofsted of any significant events likely to affect the suitability of any household members and notify Ofsted of any allegations made against a member of the household.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We needed to investigate the concern to see whether the provider was meeting the Early Years Foundation Stage welfare requirements relating to Safeguarding and promoting children's welfare' and 'Suitable people'. In particular, these include requirements that state that an effective safeguarding policy and procedure must be in place and that providers must ensure that adults looking after children, or having unsupervised access to them, are suitable to do so.

p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider responded to this action in writing confirming that she had put appropriate systems in place to ensure that all information is in place for children in advance the care being provided in future.
p.2
Summary of outcome
We monitored the provider to ensure that they met the condition and liaised with the outside agency until their investigation was complete.
p.2
